The Genetics of Ocular Development (GoOD) Society

This Society brings together clinicians (geneticists and ophthalmologists) and scientists worldwide to share ideas for the diagnosis of genetic eye disease, an understanding of the conditions, including phenotypes, inheritance patterns and the basic pathways involved, and to determine future strategies in terms of therapeutics.  

It allows basic scientists involved in the research of these eye anomalies and clinicians involved in the care of such individuals with developmental eye genetic disorders to meet, listen to each others’ interesting work and collaborate.
